Position Summary:

The Digital E-Commerce Analyst will leverage web analytics data to drive business value and insights for Site Operations, Marketing and Merchandising teams.

 This role is responsible for working with all major web analytics platforms including Adobe Analytics/Site Catalyst and Google Analytics to report on key KPIs that empower stakeholders to make decisions that drive business initiatives and evaluate success.  You will analyze website performance as well as multiple online marketing channels such as email, paid search and social media. Utilization of A/B and multivariate testing design and analysis is also required.

The Digital E-Commerce Analyst is also responsible for providing data and insights to leadership.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Use Adobe Analytics / SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics tools to analyze and report on customer behavior on our web and mobile platforms
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly dashboards used by Site Operations, Merchandising and Marketing. Guide stakeholders in identifying KPIs for their areas and build reporting that provides insight in the performance of their areas
  • Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to optimize site performance based upon and agreed set of key performance indicators (KPI's)
  • Analyze customer-level click-stream and transaction behavior to continually recommend actions to take based on the analysis
  • Knowledge of Adobe Test & Target plus design and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests on the website, as well as analyze results.
  • Validation of data collected by analytics tools, plus ongoing audit of existing implementations of Adobe Omniture SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics web analytics systems to improve tracking and implementation and variable usage to better collect more granular data and identify more correlations and sub-relationships that can be easily implemented
  • Must be able to articulate recommendation and strategies related to key stakeholders as well as executive management
  • Experience with the implementation of s_code through DTM a plus

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of web analytics experience with and a deep understanding of Adobe Analytics / Site Catalyst reporting and implementation. Experience with Google Analytics also required
  • 2+ years of e-commerce experience required
  • Web analytics certification including Adobe Analytics / SiteCatalyst
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing and testing platforms – Adobe Target preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to present actionable information to business stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication/presentation skills required
  • Ability to identify opportunities and act on them is required (self-starter)
  • Ability to prioritize projects with minimal supervision; must be impeccably organized
  • Expertise in Excel
  • Computer programming experience in JavaScript, Python, PHP, API including SOAP and REST, database preferred
  • Expertise in statistics preferred and numerical analysis preferred
