This role will be part of the exciting web customer team. This is an innovative team situated in our open-concept headquarters in conveniently located Boca Raton, FL.  The team consists of customer facing eCommerce site solutions that will provide Vitacost customers with a world-class digital shopping experience.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for being part of an Agile development team, participating in all aspect of the software development lifecycle, focusing on making the team more efficient and productive through quality software best practices. As an Agile Analyst, you will be given the opportunity to guide teams towards creating digital product experiences that have a direct and meaningful impact on the quality of the Vitacost Digital platform.

Key skills:

  • Work with Product Management, Technical Management and architects to review and contribute to Vision, Roadmap and Program Backlog refinement 

  • Maintain conceptual and technical integrity of features or components the team is responsible for 

  • Coordinate dependencies with other Agile Analysts
  • Understand technical/enabler work and work with Product Management and Technical 
Management and Architects to assist with decision making and sequencing of the work 

  • Owns the team backlog - responsible to define stories, refine and prioritize the Team 
Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities 

  • Participate and provide context to help facilitate team estimates 

  • Represents scope, content and goals during team iteration planning and execution
  • Ensures stories are sufficiently elaborated "just in time" for iterations to keep the process flowing
  • Responsible to accept stories and ensure they meet the definition of done
  • Participate in Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives and contribute to Showcase Demos
  • Support inclusion of improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program
