 This role will be part of the exciting ERP order management/customer service/finance team. This is a highly innovative team situated in our Vitacost.com facility in Boca Raton, FL. This is an exciting environment with a "start-up", innovative culture and the opportunity to have a major impact on the future of digital shopping at Vitacost. We are looking for an individual with a passion for being part of an Agile development team, participating in all aspect of the software development lifecycle, focusing on making the team more efficient and productive through quality software best practices. As a BA/Product Owner, you will be given the opportunity to guide teams towards creating digital product experiences that have a direct and meaningful impact on the quality of the Vitacost Digital platform.

The Business Analyst's role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient technology solutions in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Business Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of technology investments.

 REQUIREMENTS

●     Meet with business system owners and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.

●     Participate design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.

●     Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

●     Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.

●     Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.

●     Perform & document cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

●     Create system specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to software engineers.

●     Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

●     Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

●      Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a must

●      Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems and/or 3-7 years equivalent work experience.

●      Participation in and leading the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

●     Knowledge of systems programming and associated activities.

●     Extensive knowledge and experience in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.

●     Hands-on experience in the operation and analysis of data.

●     Proven ability to envision system needs from business user interactions.

●     Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives and how technology solutions impact the organization.
